Dear Friends,
Happy Belated Feast of Our Dear Mother's Assumption into Heaven and the beginning of the Lent of St Michael!
Isn't it true that we all need prayers as well as need to pray? Perhaps you are having moments where you find it difficult to pray? Or could use others to pray for you?
This is why we formed the Spiritual Membership of the Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success. It is our hope that you will join us and take advantages of our joint prayers throughout the year and also our monthly Masses for our spiritual members - living as well as dead. We also send petitions to the sisters in Quito, Ecuador weekly. We are not a huge enttity like some Catholic Corporate Conglomerates.
I am concerned for the life of our apostolate. We have been here for over 20 yrs.
We need your help to continue. Please join us in prayer to continue our work.
It is true that our apostolate- our family at its core - has been afflicted by many health issues and other attacks from the devil. I am a very private person and so I don't share everything with you. But I can ask- even beg for your prayers to protect our family and find a way to continue our mission and fight for the Truth and the Church. But is it not true that our extended family- that is- all of you- are being attacked as well? According to our correspondence that we receive - this is true! So we need to band together and pray often- annually throughout the year to be strong and stand firm. We need to give each spiritual and moral support with our prayers!
We have number of projects that need printing and absolutely no funds to do this with...that is why we need your prayers and financial assitance during this Lent of St. Michael to beg Heaven for assistance. We need St. Michael's assistance NOW more than ever as the powers of Hell are attacking us relentlessly.
The above image is a tile mosaic found in San Giovanni Rotundo comissioned by that of Padre Pio when he was alive. It is by far my favorite image of St Michael for so many reasons. He seems to be engaging us with his eyes and is demeanor one in which he is serious but he seems to be calling us to battle while letting us know that he is here to help and all we need to do is call on him.
I have written an extensive article on Padre Pio and St. Michael here and the image above if you would like to know all of the reasons why having a devotion to St. Michael is so very important!
Below is the Chaplet of St. Michael that Padre Pio encouraged ALL of his devotees to pray daily. It is one that our dear friend, Anne Cillis- May she rest in peace- said daily and she was a spiritual daughter of Padre Pio and was told by him of her special mission she would have in the future. She prayed this daily. She died with a smile on her lips and an expression of joy. She also died on August 6th, the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord.

PROMISES:
HIstory of the Devotion to the Nine Choirs of Angels
Appearing to the Servant of God, Antonia d' Astonac, St. Michael revealed that he wished to be honored by nine salutations corresponding to the nine choirs of Angels and that an Our Father and three Hail Marys should be said in honor of each of these nine choirs. The Archangel promised that whoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have, when approaching the Holy Table, an escort of nine Angels from each of the nine choirs. In addition, for the daily recital of these nine salutations, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy Angels during life, and after death, for those who have been holy enough to warrant a short Purgatory, deliverance for themselves and their relations.

Make us worthy, we beg of Thee to be delivered by his powerful protection from all our enemies, that we may not be overcome by them at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by St. Michael into the holy presence of Thy Divine Majesty. This, we beg through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
