Prayer to Mary, Holy Mary of Good Success Holy Virgin, loving Mother and
Protectress of all men, universal remedy for all evils
and tender guardian of our souls, I venerate thy Holy
Statue that represents and recalls the special favors
thou hath given to pilgrims on this earth and your kindly
patronage of this Community and those who have recourse
to you under this name. Confiding in thy singular
protection, I fall at thy feet and pour out my heart,
repenting of my offenses against God and thee, begging
thee to grant me pardon for my sins and imperfections. I
offer thee again my gratitude for all the benefits
granted me, for thy miraculous apparition and for the
pledge of special protection that thou hath given those
who come to thee as Mother and Advocate. Hear my cries,
my Mother, and as thou art the healer of every infirmity,
I know that thou has the remedies for all my infirmities,
which are many, and that thy goodness and mercy will
conquer them.
Do not cease to be our protectress
because of our infidelities, but have pity on us because
of the fragility of our nature. Hear our cries with
tender compassion. Save us in our conflicts, foil the
evil designs of our enemies, give us courage and
resignation in our tribulations and great confidence in
the power of God. Renew the fervor in all thy religious
so that they might be faithful, observant, and obedient
to their Superiors and the Rule. Give us a constant
desire to serve and love God in imitation of thee, with
whom we live united in the same sentiment and labors,
thanking thee for the many favors thou hast granted us,
like this one of having this holy Statue as an
everlasting remembrance of your apparition. Then, after
serving thee with enthusiasm and supernatural joy on this
Earth, may we also be with you eternally in Heaven.
"My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my Spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior." "Because He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid; for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed." "For He that is mighty has done
great things to me; and holy is His Name." "And His mercy is from generation to generations, to them that fear Him." "He hath showed might in His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart." "He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble." "He hath filled the hungry with good things and the rich he hath sent empty away." "He hath received Israel His servant, being mindful of His mercy," "As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his seed forever. Amen." Glory be to the Father....
Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be. (With ecclesiastical approval). If favors are granted, please send information to: Postulator for the Cause of Beatification, Palacio Arzobispo, Apartado 106, Quito, Ecuador
