Spiritual Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success

The Spiritual Apostolate was formed as a direct result of requests from devotees of Our Lady of Good Success.  Religious and lay people alike desired to be united in prayer under the protective mantle of the Holy Virgin of Quito. 

Just as St. Beatrice de Silva, foundress of the Conceptionist order extends her cloak over all of the Conceptionist sisters past, present and future as a sign of Motherly affection, (shown in this picture) we implore Our Queen and Mother to do likewise when we attach ourselves to this Apostolate.

Our Lady of Good Success aid and protect us during these times!

Daily Conditions and Obligations of the Apostolate

1. Pray for the restoration of the Catholic Church. 
2. Pray for an increase in religious vocations.
3. Pray for all good and faithful religious –priests, sisters and brothers who are suffering in these perilous times.
4. Pray for the religious that have fallen away so that they may return to the Church.
5. Pray for the intentions of the other members of the Apostolate.

It is also highly recommended to follow the wishes of Our Lady in the accordance with her promises that she made known at Fatima:

1. Pray a decade of the Rosary daily.
2. Observe the First Saturdays by reciting five decades of the rosary, going to confession, receiving Holy Communion and meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary with the intention of making reparation to Our Lady on the first Saturday of five consecutive months.
3. Wear the Brown Scapular.
4. Perform a special penance on Fridays in reparation for the sins committed during this tragic period in the Church.               Examples: Abstaining from meat, alcohol, amusements, say extra prayers, etc.
5. Pray for the Pope.

The Holy Sacrifice of the  Mass is offered each month for the intentions of the Apostolate and its members.  A candle is lit each week for the intentions of the Apostolate and its members at the Conceptionist Church in Quito, Ecuador, where the statue of Our Lady of Good Success resides.

Pledge to Our Lady of Good Success (to be said every day-if possible)

Our Lady of Good Success, our most amiable Queen and our most dedicated Mother,

I pledge to thee today and every day of my life my love and devotion.

I offer thee my prayers works, joys and sufferings of each and every day in reparation for the sins of this most lamentable era, in particular the sins of blasphemy, heresy and impurity which has caused thee and thy Most Beloved Son, Jesus Christ so much anguish and sorrow.

I beg your intercession before the Most Holy Trinity to grant us the full restoration to the Catholic Church.  Grant to us through thy Most Beloved Son the grace to persevere in these times and to aid in spreading this devotion.

I ask most humbly for thy guidance to direct me according to my state in life and the grace to do the will of God in all that I do. 

I ask thee to hear the prayers and special petitions of the members of this Apostolate as well.  I wish to be thine in time and in eternity!
